Eric Lynn Wright was born on September 7th, 1964 in Compton, California. He grew up selling drugs to survive in a place where gang culture was rampant and crime rates were sky-high.

Step 1: Wash your hair

The first step is to wash your hair so it is completely clean. Then apply conditioner to your hair thoroughly so that every strand is covered in conditioner.

Use a comb (not a brush) to comb your hair so that the conditioner evenly coats your hair strands. Do this slowly to prevent hair breakage and pull.

Step 2: Remove excess water

Remove excess water from your hair by shaking your head left to right and up to down. This way the excess water will come off your hair.

Then gently comb your hair in the direction you want to style it after your hair gets dry and the loose curls start to take shape. For example, if you want to wear your hair with a natural part then part it using the comb that way.

Step 3: Wash hair again

Remove the conditioner by washing your hair. Be cautious when you are doing so because you don’t want to comb your hair during the washing process. You simply want to remove the conditioner from your hair.

Make sure the center of your head has space so that the conditioner is removed from there too. Don’t change the way you styled your hair because that is key to getting the curls.

Step 4: Apply oil

Shake your head to remove the excess water again. Let your hair air dry. This may take a while but it is best if you let your hair dry this way.

Then if you wish to apply products such as Moroccan oil, you can do so at this point. You will notice that the curls will be loose and not too difficult to deal with. If you want the afro hair then simply comb through it after it dries.

Step 5: Trim hair

Trimming can be done in a variety of ways. If you want to trim your curls then wear them as you normally would then use haircutting scissors to trim the ends.

Do a bit at a time so you don’t cut too much hair accidentally. When cutting, don’t pull forward or backward, and let the hair be as it would naturally fall so that you can get the best cut.
